The following photographic guide to the vulva was originally presented on a website that no longer exists, but a copy of the guide was placed in The-Clitoris Yahoo Group in 2002. That group was subsequently deleted by Yahoo in April of 2005. The guide is reproduced here in its original format.
Some may object to the use of the slang term "pussy," when referring to the vulva, but at times the message is more important than the means by which it is delivered.
The classification and descriptions used are arbitrary, and represent the opinion of the person who created the guide. That is, don't take the text to be a statement fact. These photographs reveal the true diversity that exists in the appearance of vulvae. Every woman's vulva is unique. Viva la Vulva!
